Add widgets to Squarespace via Code Blocks or Injection.

Install steps

  1. Edit a page and add a 'Code' block.
  2. Paste the GizmoSauce embed snippet.
  3. Save and refresh to see the widget.

Method 1: Specific Page (Code Block)

Use this for Galleries, Sliders, or Inline Forms.

  1. Edit any page.
  2. Click an insert point or 'Add Block'.
  3. Search for Code (</> icon).
  4. Delete the default 'Hello World' text.
  5. Paste GizmoSauce snippet.
  6. Important: Squarespace disables scripts in Edit mode. You will see 'Script Disabled'. Save the page and exit Edit mode to see the live widget.

Method 2: Site-Wide (Code Injection)

Use this for Chat, Popups, or Announcement Bars.

  1. Go to Website > Pages.
  2. Scroll down to Website Tools > Code Injection.
  3. Paste the code into the Footer box.
  4. Click Save.

Note: Code Injection is a Premium feature on some personal plans. If unavailable, use the Code Block method on individual pages footer.
