Joomla Widget Integration

Install Steps

  1. Log in to Administrator panel.
  2. Go to System > Global Configuration to disable text filters if needed.
  3. Edit a Module (Custom HTML) or Article.
  4. Switch editor to 'Code' view.
  5. Paste the snippet and save.

Using a Custom HTML Module

  1. Go to Content > Site Modules.
  2. Click New and select Custom.
  3. Title your module (e.g. 'Reviews Widget').
  4. Crucial: Toggle your editor to 'Code' mode (or 'Toggle Editor'). Plain WYSIWYG editors often strip script tags.
  5. Paste the code.
  6. Set Position to where you want it (e.g., 'bottom-b', 'footer', or an article position).
  7. Set Menu Assignment to 'On all pages' or specific selections.
  8. Save & Close.

Script Stripping?

If the code disappears after saving, go to System > Global Configuration > Text Filters. Set the filter for Super Users to 'No Filtering'. This allows you to save script tags.
